Geophysicist
Xellient are currently working along-side a major player within Geophysical solutions, currently seeking an experienced Processing Geophysicist.
The company is an innovative, forward thinking organisation using some of the most technological systems currently available.
You will process data from both Marine and Land and this will increasingly involve full wave acquisition. Typically this requires solving some of the most difficult seismic problems to both reveal and correctly position subsurface events. Technically demanding projects will introduce you to the full range of seismic challenges and leading geophysical technologies making use of both industry standard and proprietary software.
The role will be based within the companies head office just south of London, were you will also be expected to travel extensively throughout various worldwide client locations.
You will preferably have an MSc/PhD in Geophysics, Geology or Physics, 5 years' experience in a processing Geophysicist position.
Experience in 3D Marine data would be preferred and exposure to Land and multicomponent processing would be helpful.
You will be expected to have a strong understanding of seismic technology, with experience using Promax being an advantage.
Because of the location on the position, only candidates authorised to live and work in Europe will be considered for this position.
