Electronic Technician |LK01

Job description

Ensure that all installations, repair, calibrations and modifications to the electronic systems and components are carried out in accordance with company policies and regulatory laws
Ensure that the permit to work and energy isolation procedures are strictly adhered to at all times
Ensure that entries on permits, isolation tags and logs reflect current status
Maintain and repair all electronic and instrumentation systems onboard
Perform installation, calibration and modification to electronic, instrumentation systems and components
Maintain up to date back ups, images and computers. Preserve control system software and ensure software is stored in a secure location
Participate in the effective management of the Company Maintenance Management System and ensure records are maintained in a timely manner
Ensure all electronic equipment brought onto the rig, including Third Party equipment, is certified and meets regulatory requirements
Communicate equipment problems or breakdown information to Senior Electronic Technician and Electrical Supervisor
Ensure that the maintenance log and all reports are accurate and complete
Maintain accurate electronic and instrument inventory to support safe and efficient operation of the unit
Perform maintenance according to the Company Maintenance Management System
Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on all electronic equipment
Rebuild and repair printed circuit boards
Read and work from electronic blueprint drawings
Assist the electrical department with resolving electrical problems as required
Adhere to rig operating procedures at all times. Report all unsafe activities, situations, and potential hazards to supervisor
Actively participate in weekly rig and departmental safety meetings
Actively participate in the Safety Management Systems
Ensure housekeeping is maintained in assigned areas
Effectively use all safety and environmental tools employed by Seadrill (4-point check, OBS cards, PTW etc.)
Perform all emergency duties as per designation on the station bill
Comply with the training matrix for the position
Comply with the Competence Assurance Program in a timely manner as per Seadrill requirement

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent - Electrical Engineering or Electronic Technology Degree from an accredited technical school, trade school or college
Experience of electrical systems or experience with an industry degree
Technical Certificate
Read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and diagrams.
Able to operate software applications as applicable to position
Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background Check. Complete competency requirements for current position and work towards gaining competency in the next position.

Subsea Supervisor |LK01

Job description

Responsible for the daily control / maintenance of well control equipment: BOP, MUX control system, riser, slip joint, riser tensioning system, kill/choke manifold, compensating equipment and all other associated well control equipment
Professional knowledge of hydraulic, electric IT components and configurations for subsea BOP equipment
Demonstrate proficient technical understanding of engineering, industry standards and the company management system
Reviews and approves BOP, riser and riser tension configurations
Plans and supervises the deployment, pressure testing and maintenance of BOP
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the BOP handling systems
Plan, witness and maintain records of pressure test
Responsible for subsea equipment interfaces between client and subcontractor’s equipment
Assist in running and testing the wellhead, casing hangers and seal assemblies.
Confirm that all well specific space out measurements are calculated, verified and clearly posted on the rig floor and other relevant areas
Ensure the riser and tensioning system are deployed, operated and recovered in accordance with well specific operating guidelines and engineering riser analysis
Maintain accurate records of the maintenance history of all subsea equipment in the company maintenance management system and coordinate planning and implementation
Responsible for ensuring that the subsea department are conversant with relevant rig specific procedures, that they are understood, utilized and updated accordingly
Oversee the inventory of subsea spares, oils and operating fluids
Communicate equipment problems or breakdown with Technical Field Support group and equipment vender(s)
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date documentation package and drawings of subsea equipment onboard. Maintain the accuracy of the documentation package and drawings and participate in the management of change process together with the shorebased office
Develop and compile comprehensive subsea procedures and checklists
Demonstrate cost control awareness of subsea equipment and inventory. Assist with the preparation of the budget
Jointly review the results of regular pressure and function testing along with OIM & DSL to ensure the BOP is maintained and ready for deployment
Conduct performance appraisals for subordinates. Recommend promotion, development or disciplinary action
Mentor, develop and train crew members to ensure they are competent to work in their current job positions and where appropriate coached and prepared for the next position

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in engineering or educational equivalent from an accredited technical school or comparable military experience
Experience in a Sub Sea role with MUX (electro hydraulic subsea systems)
Experience and formal assessment of competency
Valid Supervisors Well Control Certification
Working knowledge of technical calculations required for subsea operations.
Read and decipher drawings, electro hydraulic circuit diagrams for competent evaluations of troubleshooting techniques.
Able to operate software applications as applicable to position (i.e. basic desktop applications, project planning software, and computer based maintenance system).
Proficient verbal and written communication skills

Assistant Driller |LK01

Job description

Assist the driller in the safe drilling of each well according to the well programme
Responsible for the execution of first line maintenance for all of the drilling equipment according to company procedures
Carry out basic well control duties applicable for position
Maintain housekeeping in assigned areas
Measure and record all critical dimensions of downhole equipment to be run in the well
Prepares and makes ready all tubulars, handling gear and any equipment associated with forthcoming well operations
Maintain applicable reports as required by driller, client, and company procedures
Actively participate in safety, departmental, pre-tour, client meetings, etc.
Ensure that approved rig operating procedures are adhered to at all times. Report all unsafe activities, situations, and potential hazards to supervisor
Ensure housekeeping is maintained in assigned areas
Actively participate in the Safety Management Systems
Mentor, develop and train crew members to ensure they are competent to work in their current job positions and where appropriate coached and prepared for the next position

Valid Supervisors Level Well Control Certification

Able to operate rig floor equipment utilizing HIE (Human Interface Equipment)
Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background Check. Complete competency requirements for current position and work towards gaining competency in the next position.
