Description
Design and write control systems software for equipment.
Provide assistance in the creation, development and maintenance of Commissioning and Software documentation.
Provide support for the implementation, execution, start-up, field support and troubleshooting of NOV Control systems and tools.
Develop and de-bug Control System Software and Operator control interfaces prior to project or product release.
Train customers, and Field Service Technicians, on scope of equipment operation, troubleshooting and problem diagnostics.
Provide support for commissioning operations as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot associated hardware.
Provide as required valid, clear and concise reporting on all verification and testing of software and associated systems during development and in the field.
Operator Inspection
Description

Description

Description
Perform NDT essays, lifting tests using rope access techniques according to the needs;
Work in offshore, onshore, industries or shipyards following company's directions.

Description
Manage and mentor all TSEs for the given Area;
In development and achieving progression through the core competency system
In cross product knowledge
In application analysis and application recommendations
Ensure all TSEs have a high standard of presentation and communication skills
Ensure team work between TSE and FSS designation
Complete performance reviews for each TSE
Provide technical sales support for NOV DH product lines to both operators and directional companies in given area
Notify Field Operations Coordinator (FOC) on any potential jobs requiring an FSS as soon as possible
Ensure pre-job checklist is completed with client and sales person (for forwarding to inside sales), and forwarded to FOC and product specialist.
Co-ordinate eTools and Directional field operations, between client, operations and FOC (FSS)
Through constant customer contact maintain accurate monitoring of performance, activity, applications and competition to NOV DH products.
Technically supervise integrated multi-product solutions to clients.
Ensure TSEs assigned to sales/client, build a business plan with sales person for each client.
Conduct peer reviews on application projects
Analyze tool application performance data and prepare and present to customer, performance summaries.
Provide BHA and Drill-String recommendations directly to DD Companies and Operators.
Identify and assist in product improvements / development and placement.
Make recommendations to enhance existing products to drive reliability.
Implement procedures, best practices and follow knowledge management processes.
Integrate drilling dynamics data and surface data to optimize bit/tool performance.
Promote the technical image of NOV in the local area through membership of industry groups, technical papers and local publications.
