Operations Manager (v1391627)
Role Purpose:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the FPSO operation and empowered to make all the decisions to guarantee the operations delivery whilst creating superior value for the stakeholders. In the Project Execution phase the Operations Manager ensures that the operational impact of issues is addressed appropriately.
Main Responsibilities:
-To manage all aspects of the FPSO operation, safely, cost effectively and in accordance with company policies, and to deliver the contract requirements to the Client
-Overall responsibility and accountability for the safe and cost effective operation of the FPSO.
-Responsible for ensuring full compliance with the Company’s contractual obligations with regard to the FPSO contract (Charter and Service).
-Acts as the primary point of contact onshore for the OIM’s for all operational, maintenance, logistics, engineering, legislative authority and H.R. issues.
-Responsible for establishing effective client liaison and ensuring a good working relationship is maintained at all times.
-Responsible for the implementation and enhancement of the Company's Management System on the FPSO and onshore.
Job Requirements:
Engineer Degree (eg Process, Naval architect, Chemistry) OR General Business awareness (eg MBA)
Fluent in English
Previous experience in the offshore industry
