Statoil Search Offshore Engineer in Brazil


Job Description 

Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective work processes for LCI in project, implementing and follow-up LCI requirement specifications, performing general LCI Management and handling overall as-built information (LCI) to Systems in Operation for all Peregrino field installations.
Have and demonstrate at all times strong commitment to Statoil values and HSE requirements.

LCI Engineers's Primary Tasks In Supporting Engineering Disciplines

Be the coordinator and advisor on all subjects related to the LCI (Life Cycle Information) area
Be TAG hierarquic administrator on STID and SAP, assuring any changes follow applicable requirements and are promptly done
Provide support and training to different stakeholders, such as Operations and Projects, on LCI requirements, clarifying required deliveries
Follow up status and deliveries to ensure that projects handed over from project team fulfils LCI requirements and are received in due time.
Follow-up and ensure that relevant stakeholders, such as project team and operations have established routines for handling red-line mark-ups
Verify that data and documentation is updated at all times in Statoil systems in a correct manner
Train project engineers/designers on Statoil LCI management tools
Support technical activities related to Maintenance Management System (SAP).

Qualifications

LOCAL POSITION - LOCAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS Qualifications Relevant O&G industry background

On/Offshore experience experience with projects and/or field operations
Engineering degree in Naval Architecture/Marine, Mechanical or Procution Engineering
Written and oral fluency in Portuguese and English languages
Knowledge in international codes and standards as well as with Brazilian industrial regulations and requirements
Experience in managing contractors activities
Previous experience in SAP based maintenance and inspection programs.
