Piping Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS: 

The Piping Engineer is reporting to the Project Manager and is responsible for the development of piping specifications, datasheets and technical requisitions for piping related items.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Prepare requisitions, technical bid evaluations and supplier documentation review for varioius piping engineering items (pipe, manual valves, pipe supports, etc.).
  • Perform, check and/or oversee all pipe stress analysis, assuring compliance with all applicable codes pertaining to piping systems and strain‐sensitive equipment.
  • Conducts engineering cost, feasibility, and planning studies analyzing customer needs and data including researching, investigation, and coordination with other engineers and providing recommendations to the client.
  • Support project management personnel with regular reporting, scheduling, staffing planning and coordination
  • Check Engineering calculations as well as check all drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards; Assign tasks to and supervise the work of less senior personnel
  • Coordinate with Piping Design team to ensure proper exchange of information (pipe materials, isometric drawing availability, pipe support type and location, etc.). Also coordinates with inspection group regarding appropriate testing, PWHT, etc. where applicable

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • Candidate should worked in the Oil & Gas Industry, with experience in Floating Production Unit (FPU) design from conceptual to detail design;
  • Knowledge of Engineering Codes and Standard applicable to the discipline;


Offshore Structural Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS: 

The Offshore Structural Engineer is reporting to the Project Manager and is responsible for the development of structural engineering studies and design.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Perform layout, structural configuration development, analysis, and design of structural items of major size and and complexity (such as decks, skids, modules, and jackets).
  • Perform tasks necessary to ensure complete designs (such as varying geotechnical and metocean data; preparing project specifications; coordinating with verification agencies to get design certified; resolving construction and installation issues)
  • Conducts engineering cost, feasibility, and planning studies analyzing customer needs and data including researching, investigation, and coordination with other engineers and providing recommendations to the client.
  • Support project management personnel with regular reporting, scheduling, staffing planning and coordination
  • Check Engineering calculations as well as check all drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards; Assign tasks to and supervise the work of less senior personnel
  • Coordinate with Structural Department to assure quality of work and ensures that consistent technical content is maintained for drawing and design packages throughout the project.

Mechanical Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS: 

The Mechanical Engineer is reporting to the Project Manager and is responsible for the design of mechanical equipment packages and development of mechanical specifications, datasheets and technical requisitions for mechanical equipment packages.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Perform specification and selection of mechanical equipment package to meet project criteria;
  • Performs bid evaluations of mechanical equipment and makes recommendations for award.
  • Conducts engineering cost, feasibility, and planning studies analyzing customer needs and data including researching, investigation, and coordination with other engineers and providing recommendations to the client.
  • Support project management personnel with regular reporting, scheduling, staffing planning and coordination
  • Check Engineering calculations as well as check all drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards; Assign tasks to and supervise the work of less senior personnel
  • Liaise with Mechanical Engineering Department and Mechanical Design team members to assure quality of work and ensures that consistent technical content is maintained for drawing and design packages throughout the project.

Instrument Engineer

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTIONS: 

The Instrument Engineer is reporting to the Project Manager and is responsible for the design of overall power systems and development of Electrical onelines, plan drawings, installation details, wiring diagrams and fabrication drawings.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Perform specification and selection of Instrument equipment to meet project criteria;
  • Performs bid evaluations of instrument, mechanical and electrical equipment and makes recommendations for award.
  • Conducts engineering cost, feasibility, and planning studies analyzing customer needs and data including researching, investigation, and coordination with other engineers and providing recommendations to the client.
  • Support project management personnel with regular reporting, scheduling, staffing planning and coordination;
  • Check Engineering calculations as well as check all drawings in accordance with industry codes and standards; Assign tasks to and supervise the work of less senior personnel
