Offshore Lead Electrician

The Offshore Lead Electrician reports to the FPSO maintenance supervisor
Leads a team of electrical technicians in fulfilling the FPSO maintenance needs
Uses the maintenance management system (SAP) to execute the maintenance plan and update maintenance history
Proposes changes in maintenance routines and plans to improve the FPSO reliability and efficiency
Continously monitors and adjusts the spare parts and consumables stock to ensure high equipment uptime
Ensures compliant and efficient permit-to-work use
Ensures that vendors and contractors are managed safely and effectively
Identifies training needs for the team
Handles emergencies, as part of the emergency response team.

Position offered on local (Brazil) terms, for offshore rotation onboard the FPSO Peregrino.

Qualifications

5 years of experience as electrical maintenance supervisor or equivalent
Electrical technician certificate from top institutions or electrical engineer degree
Experience with industrial power generation and automated electrical installations
Fluent in Portuguese and with good command of English
Efficient in use of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.

Barge Supervisor

Job description

Reports to the OIM, is a member of the offshore leadership team
Runs the FPSO marine department (deck, cargo, ballast and offloading), ensuring safe, efficient and compliant operations
Ensures proper use of the departmental budget
Develops and evaluates team performance
Ensures safe and efficient use of vendors, contractors and sub-contractors
Ensures quality in the permit-to-work process, from creation through closure
Handles emergencies, as part of the FPSO emergency response team.

Qualifications

3 years of experience as barge supervisor onboard FPSOs or as a chief mate on oil tankers
Chief mate (STCW II/2) – unrestricted for oil tankers – or higher CoC
Fluent in written and spoken english and portuguese
Good knowledge of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.

Reports to the production supervisor
Leads a shift team of control room and production operators in meeting the production targets in a safe, efficient and compliant manner
Plans and ensures timely and complete execution of plant preparations for work permits releasing
Creates maintenance notifications for plant malfunctioning, participates in their prioritization and follows-up their execution
Ensures high standards in housekeeping in own area
Executes first-line maintenance and preservation of production area assets
Ensures an adequate stock of consumables for the production department needs

Qualifications

Job description

Reports to the OIM, is part of the offshore leadership team
Leads a team of 2 safety technicians to jointly execute HSE-related routines
Acts as the single point of contact on the FPSO for HSE-related topics
Actively follows up the work performed on the unit, promoting safe and compliant behavior
Keeps the leadership team updated on new HSE regulations
Keeps the work permit system flowing efficiently and in compliance
Performs arrivals briefings and unit familiarization for newcomers
Ensures the emergency response equipment is always ready for use
Ensures quality in the HSE incidents reporting
Manages the observation cards program onboard
Develops the safety technicians skills

Qualifications

3 years as a safety officer onboard oil and gas production platforms
Safety technician credentials according to brazilian legislation

Experience with boilers and steam turbines will be considered an advantage
Fluent in written and spoken english and portuguese
Good knowledge of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.
